From feeling lost to belonging, the mind breaks its boundaries and finds home.
An individual gently lifts off from the earth, floating in a quiet space where gravity surrenders to the weightless drift of the mind. Behind this rising form lies a map of my hometown- a visual story that traces the complex emotional shift between feeling lost and finally belonging, between being an outsider and finding a true home within a specific place. While the physical sky is a vast, endless space that can never be divided, the human mind naturally creates its own boundaries. We break the infinite apart, trapping our individual views of the world within rigid, separate cubes of thought. Yet, even within these self-imposed shapes, the inner self keeps its free and open nature- proving that no matter how tightly we box in our reality, the mind still holds a deep, natural urge to break free and float everywhere at once.
